I chortled (more video)

I’ve been waiting a long time to repurpose this.

Republican = Crybaby

I think this is going to get used a lot more in the near future.

UPDATE: Those of you who think that “Every word Schmidt uttered is gospel truth” need to go read this.

  1. Every word Schmidt uttered is gospel truth. And remember this: the media were equally biased toward Gore in 2000 and Kerry in 2004, and both lost. So don’t be too quick to count your winnings.

  2. Right, right. The media has a liberal bias. Wow I didn’t see that one coming.

  3. In fact, Mr. Rocky, you may want to look at this: http://www.democratandchronicle.com/article/20080925/NEWS01/80925009/1002/NEWS

  4. Zogby says that it’s going to be a McCain landslide? OMG well he’s always right so I guess that must be what’s going to happen!

    Oh wait:

In 2004, while his actual polling was right on the money, his Election Day prediction failed to materialize. Before polls had even closed in the 2004 presidential election, Zogby predicted a comfortable win for John Kerry (311 electoral votes, versus 213 for Bush, with 14 too close to call), saying that “Bush had this election lost a long time ago,” adding that voters wanted a change and would vote for “any candidate who was not Bush.” While admitting that he was mistaken, Zogby did not admit any possible flaws in his polling methods, insisting that his predictions were all within the margin of error. While on The Daily Show With Jon Stewart, he said he felt that Kerry would win due to the undecided voters. Despite his personal prediction, Zogby’s final poll showed Bush with a one point lead over Kerry.[2] Zogby later released a “mea culpa” in which he stated “I will do better next time: I will just poll, not predict.”

  5. First you liberals say the election was rigged (which would be why Zogby was wrong), and now you are implying that it was legit and Zogby was just wrong?

    Get your story straight.

  6. Zogby was wrong big time and he himself posted a mea culpa (that’s a strange phrase to you no doubt, look it up) and said that he should stick to telling the facts of the polls and stay out of the predictions. So now I’m supposed to give any weight to a Zogby prediction?

    Um, no.

  7. There you go again, trying to smear my good name. You think I don’t know what mea culpa is? If you have wrote even one paper for college, you should be aware of that SAT word. Acting as though I do not know common words is a very unwise decision by you.

I understand that Zogby admitted that he was wrong in his guess, but what the hell do you think a guess is? He provided his educated guess and you know what? It was wrong. Oh well, there is no way to solidly predict an election. Polls do only so much, people want to hear opinions and guesses from top pollsters, and Zogby, no doubt, is a top national pollster.

You said “so now I’m supposed to give any weight to a Zogby prediction?” because he made one error? Well why the hell do you “give weight” to any poll, or hell any politician? What about BARACK OBAMA HIMSELF getting the whole surge thing WRONG. Why are you giving him weight? Barack has made ten times the errors in judgment than Zogby has.

What a STUPID position to take, Rocky. With your reasoning, you are entirely eliminated any poll, politician, person, news source, etc in the WORLD.

    Good God.

  8. There you go again whinging. Acting as if you know anything about anything is unwise of you.

Hey, you were the one relying on Zogby for predictions when Zogby HIMSELF said he couldn’t be relied on for predictions. Don’t lash out at me for your misgivings.

You really have a difficult time with logic don’t you?

  9. You may call it whining but it’s really called setting the record straight. Speaking of arsenals, all YOU have in your arsenal is to say I relied on Zogby? I simply wrote a quite blog entry referring to his statements. No where did I claim this election is definitely going to be a slam dunk. Twisting things again, Rocky.

  10. Run, run, run, deny, deny, deny, evade, evade, evade. Blah, blah, blah.

You posted that Zogby thinks it’s going to be a landslide for a reason. Now you’re not even man enough to stand behind that.

    what a loser you are.

  11. Ha ha ha Rocky. “run run run blahhh blahhh blahh” Come on, where is the running? I mean, it’d be a nice claim on your part if I were actually RUNNING, but God know’s you’re the one that runs from addressing Obama’s faults. Can you not even admit your candidate has his faults? Apparently not.

Of course I posted that Zogby quote for a reason: I wanted my readers to see it. It makes a completely valid point. I don’t know why you think you get off acting like Zogby doesn’t mean anything but the FACTS (perhaps something you are unfamiliar with?) are that Zogby is a trusted national pollster and source of information, AND he has an impressive track record even if he did screw up ONCE.

Apparently you think “once and done” is the way to go about things. With your radical ideology Obama would be out after his 1st gaffe. Now, after dozens of gaffes and “clarification statements” coming from the Obama camp, why do you allow him credit?

    What a hypocrite you are!

  12. You still bore me. You run from facts, you post lies and smears, and you hide under the blanket from the big bad liberals. Your blog makes that very clear.

You posted the Zogby quote because you’re grasping at straws. You didn’t think that someone, somewhere may have information that invalidates that post. Whoopse. And yet, you can’t go back and say, “UPDATE: Turns out Zogby may not be a very good person to rely on when it comes to predicting Presidential races. My bad.” Because, like every conservative, you can’t admit fault. That’s a big reason we’re in the shitty mess we’re in these days.

I think that if someone says, “I suck at predicting things” and then proceeds to predict something, that prediction should be taken with as much salt as you can find. You see it as supporting your worldview and therefore must fight for it to the death. Yeah, I get it. At least be honest with yourself.

  13. I run from facts?! Are you serious? You know what you’re doing? You are thinking about everything that could be said about yourself and using it on me. Even you know that what you speak are lies! I have done zero hiding; once again you lie and smear and act like I am something which I am not.

I can admit fault, and I have done so VERY many times before. I have wrote about McCain’s age being a fault, I have wrote about how he didn’t look into the camera much during the debate and how some of his policies don’t line up to me. I have said countless times that McCain is not the perfect candidate. Where, on your blog, is any admission that Obama… oh, I don’t know.. doesn’t have the EXPERIENCE to has shady connections wiht TONY REZKO or BILL AYERS?

Hmm… you can’t admit to anything, and you know it. Stop slinging your own mud over to me, because budrow it isn’t working. Everything you open your mouth I cut you off at the knees and you know it, and you choose to ignore any solid arguments against you that I present.

You are good at TRYING to make me look like I’m “no honest with myself”, or “i lie”, etc. It’s all talk, Rocky. Let me say this once more! back your shit up!

  14. No Jeremy, you’re finding everything wrong with yourself and projecting it on to everyone else. It couldn’t possibly be you that’s a boneheaded smear monger. Oh no, not you. You hide right in your very own blog. You delete comments and you know it. A WordPress problem my ass. lol

Okay, I hate being the grammar police because I’m capable of making silly mistakes and do so quite frequently I’m sure. But goddamn it man, quit saying “I have wrote.” Fuck that drives me batty. “You have written,” Jeremy. “Written.” Say it 10 times over and over. I have written about McCain’s age being a fault. Internalize it.

Moving on. You’re expecting me to just throw my hands up and claim your lies and distortions about Obama are true? Sorry Jeremy, nagana do it. Here, let me make up a few lies and distortions about McCain and when you admit to them on your blog, I’ll admit to your lies and distortions about Obama on mine. Ready?

    1) McCain had a black child out of wedlock. Hell, I didn’t have to go farther than the decider himself to get that one!
    2) McCain was as pad a propogandist as Jane Fonda. He was a VietCong capitulator who wrote 32 statements condemning the USA and indicating that we bombed civilian targets like schools.
    3) McCain didn’t leave Vietnam early not because he had honor but because he would have disappointed his daddy and would have ruined any chances of being the ruling elite
    4) McCain was involved in corruption and dirty politics in the Keating 5 scandal and should have gotten jail time and should be disqualified from becoming president.

Go for it, right on your blog. Make it a sticky.

Your lies and distortions about Obama (and make no mistake about it, they are lies) are not addressed by me because there’s no need to address them. They’re lies and distortions. If I want people to read lies and distortions about Obama, I’ll send them your way. Instead, I’ll stick with the truth, thanks.

And I’d head over to your blog and bust each one of your lies on each of your posts, but sadly, you’ve shown you can’t handle that and will block any posts that you can’t successfully refute. So, now I go to other blogs and try to find someone else who does have the balls to take on difficult posts.

You don’t, so you bore me. But feel free to continue to yammer on. I won’t block your posts or claim there is some kind of WordPress malfunction. Oh no, I’ll tackle your debates head on. And if all you want to do is to sling mud, well I’ll dig in with you until I get bored. And right now. I’m bored.
